How to Play – Legends of Auria

Welcome, adventurer! Your journey through the mystical land of Auria awaits. Here’s what you need to know to survive, explore, and become a legend.

1. The Objective

Embark on a quest to uncover Auria’s secrets, defeat legendary creatures like the Guardian Drake, solve ancient puzzles, gather powerful artifacts, and complete quests to gain glory and riches.

2. Game Interface

• Story Text: Read carefully to discover what’s happening around you.

• Options: Choose actions by clicking buttons—every decision matters!

• Status Bars: Track your Health (HP), Mana, Gold, Level and XP.

• Inventory: Shows items you’ve collected, crucial for solving puzzles or winning fights.

• Quest Log: Keeps track of your active quests.

• Log: Displays recent events and important notifications.

3. Basic Controls

• Choose options presented by clicking buttons.

• Use the Save, Load, and Reset buttons at the bottom to manage your game progress.

• Warning: Clicking the Reset button will restart the game from the beginning.

• Follow the story, explore locations, and interact with NPCs and items.

4. Exploration

• Move between locations using the directional options (e.g., North, East, Crossroads).

• Investigate rooms for hidden treasures or clues.

• Collect items needed to progress or unlock secret areas.

5. Combat

• Battles are turn-based.

• You can:

  • Attack: Use your strength and weapons to deal damage.

  • Cast Spells: Use mana to heal, cast fireball (double damage to fire-weak enemies), or shield yourself.

  • Defend: Reduce incoming damage on enemy turn.

• Your Strength increases physical damage; Agility helps evade attacks; Intelligence boosts mana and magic effectiveness.

• Defeat enemies to gain gold, items, and experience points (XP).
